We are opening a new type of position. This is a new format of visiting researcher. It is not in basic research. It is in Transfer of Knowledge and Knowledge Exchange.

At ICM Research Institute we want to learn more about research and innovation in various research areas and the situation in different countries. That will give us better global understanding of research, education and innovation domains so we can support transfer of knowledge (ToK)

You want to understand more about research to business, transfer of knowledge and impact from research.

To practically implement Global Visiting Researcher, we will work first in online mode and then physical visit. During whole time you will be affiliated with us.

You are: active in building research area (leadership), active in transfer of knowledge, and want to create climate (global) solutions from research and innovation.

3. Which is the area you would like to pursue for Transfer of Knowledge?

4. Do you have funding for physical visit? Do you plan to apply for such?

5. Any other information that may be relevant.

We will discuss and find common areas of interest. We will jointly decide a strategic area that creates synergies. Next we have a workshop in the strategic topic. This procedure leads to more understanding of what we can do jointly in most synergetic way. After that, The Global Visiting Researcher starts when we have that understanding after this initial period to screen topic of choice.

Practically, in the Global Visitor Researcher programme we will meet online regularly to update each other and learn from each other. That will provide knowledge and new understanding. From time to time we will have workshops and other activities which build a community by consortium pool, collaborations and network. We will also find out how you can make a physical visit to Sweden and our innovation ecosystem with partners, and how to fund that. One week visit, few weeks, months. Anything is possible. We just need to plan and position for it. There is no existing funding from R2B. If you have own funding for skill development at your organization or use from project for skill development, that is great as start. If you do not have, then we will try to find some way. That is why building community is important. It will lead to opportunities when people meet.
